Review content:
I took my car to Elliot Tires to get a 60,000 service check-up after receiving a promotional coupon from them in the mail. It turned out that the discounts on the coupon didn't ""apply"" to my car - so I ended up paying the original price for the service. On top of that, they recommended a laundry list of repairs that needed to be made to my car in addition to the repairs included in the 60,000 mile service, regardless of the fact that my car is only a 2003. I decided to get a majority of the repairs done, trusting their judgement. The day after I picked up my car, the ""Check Engine"" light came on (after $1700 in repairs!). I took it back, and they told me that my O2 sensor needed to be replaced, even though I had the exact same part replaced 1 year ago by my dealer. Wary, I took it to my dealer, who told me that Elliot misdiagnosed my car and it was in fact, the Catalytic Converter that needed replacement. Not only that, but my belts, which were replaced by Elliot, were not adjusted correctly, so I had to take it back a THIRD time. Needless to say, I will never take it back to Elliot Tires and feel like I was completely taken advantage of.
Pros: Parking
Cons: bad service, horrible repair jobs
