Review content:
I did not have that much visible damage to my vehicle. I went to pick up my car on the day I was supposed to. The damaged rear quarter panel was not completely fixed. It was bent in 1/4 inch from the bumper. ALSO, the right rear of the car appeared to be pushed back 3/4 of an inch. Greg was nice enough to tell me to just leave it till Monday and they would fix the problems. I came back Monday and noticed that the right rear tail light cover had not been replaced (or fixed as Greg claimed). He said "It is supposed to be like that." When I showed him where the back end of the right rear quarter panel was STILL no flush with the trunk Greg told me "That is from previous damage and we cant fix it." After hearing those bogus answers I did not even look close at the rest of the work done by the shop till I got home. Upon closer inspection there were 6 pits, 3 smears, and 1 scratch in the 'new' paint job. The trunk lid closed perfectly fine for the last 5 years, but now will not close unless you slam it a few times. I called allstate and they told me to take it to a different shop. The B & B service advisor could not believe that Rick Warner had not replaced the tail light cover (as the original estimate from allstate said to do), and showed me in 2 minutes where it still had a broken pin. A completely different answer than Greg had said less than 24 hours before. I also showed him where the trunk lid would not close well. B&B must have called allstate and they had someone call me a couple hours later. That person must have talked to Greg who told them that they had fixed the tail light cover, (the fix lasted 1 day? Right.) and that the trunk lid not closing correctly was from the "previous damage" which I have never noticed before in the 8 years I have owned the car. ALSO which was not mentioned on the Car Fax I received when I purchased the car 2 years old. So now luckily B&B is fixing the poor paint job and replacing the tail light cover. I can clearly see in the pictures that Rick Warner posted online where they removed the trunk lid in repairing the car. Why not just admit they didnt put it back on correctly and fix it? I am now going to be stuck with a trunk that I cant use very much for fear of ruining the latch OR I will have to pay for the fix out of my own pocket. Teach me to take my car to a 'preferred' shop. I will never recommend Rick Warner because to me Greg blatantly lied to me and to allstate and did a poor job. One other thing, the original estimate had the tail light replacement 99.00 and remove and replace the rear window when fixing/painting the rear quarter panel 52.00. Neither were done but Rick Warner still collected the whole 924.47 check. Of course the invoice given to me had more than the 924 listed as being billed. I hope allstate did not pay them the 200 extra that was on the invoice. Maybe this is normal behavior for an auto body shop. No wonder our insurance costs so much. RESPONSE FROM Rick Warner Body Shop: I am sorry you had a bad experience. We did not remove the decklid nor bill Allstate for anyting we did not do. I am glad another shop will be able to correct the problems.
