Review content:
At the time I had an Audi A4, and I went to Main Street Stereo to have the windows tinted. When I picked up the car later that day, the first thing I noticed was a lot of dust bubbles on every window. The second and MAIN thing was that on the drivers side rear window there was a 1/4 inch gap between the side of the window and the side of the tint. I went in to talk with the guy behind the counter, who I would assume is the manager / owner, he came out, looked over the car and said, ""What do you expect, its not a ferrari."" He then began to tell me that the tint gap is normal because the windows move side to side (Left to right?), while he tried to shift my window from left to right unsuccessfully. Also, that the dust bubbles are common and there wasn't anything he could do about it. I told him I wanted him to redo it and he reluctantly said fine. The next appointment he could give me was a week later.
I took the tint off the doors and the back triangle windows myself, ( Left the rear window) and brought it to another place, who had no trouble with the job. I sold the car but just recently saw it after 2 years. The back window that was tinted from main street stereo was bubbling all around the defroster lines and had turned purple. The other windows looked as good as they did when I had them done by the other shop.
I cringe everytime I drive by Main Street Stereo on sunrise highway. Do not get your windows tinted there, unless you have a ferrari.
