Review content:
As my husband had taken his car to this garage with no troubles, I didn't hesitate to take my car here. At first their service seemed fine - I was able to get a quick appointment, and the customer service by the owner was very pleasant. When I went to pick up my car from having the brakes replaced, however, things went sour pretty quickly. Apparently, they have a standard practice of washing your engine, which is funny because a recent article on cnn states that this is the 2nd worst thing you can do to a modern car. When I went to pick up my car after this washing, it suspiciously wouldn't run. Well, it would but it was shaking so violently that my vision was blurred and the check engine light was flashing (both things that were working fine before I took it there). The owner then kept the car for 4 more days trying to figure out what was wrong, and said that it had nothing to do with what they did there. Further, he attempted to charge us for the labor to find the problem and the mark up on the part to fix what was eventually wrong. After a very heated conversation he agreed to 'only' charge us for the part (at cost). Nice, but not enough considering the car ran fine when it went in. I won't be taking my car here in the future.
