Review content:
We use Colonial Chem-Dry every year for our carpet cleaning needs. Yes, it was a rainy day, but it has been 48 hours and my carpets are still damp. Usually it only takes a few hours to dry, so I'm not sure why my rugs are still damp.
Our new family room carpeting had a gray, dirty area in front of where the couch used to be (the room was empty). After the cleaning, the gray area was still evident, although improved. When I pointed it out to the cleaner, he claimed it was because the carpet was terribly worn, and "worn-out carpeting looks brown". I never heard that before and it sounded ridiculous, espcially considering that after cleaning, the heavily-traffic'd areas look just as new/good as the areas that were underneath the couches (except for that one gray area). The carpeting is only 3 yrs. old.
In spite of this small area that did not look 100 clean and the weird explanation, I will use Chem-Dry again. The rooms that were cleaned looked great. And my past experiences have been very good.
