I TOOK MY VEHICLE TO J&S AUTOMOTIVE SO I COULD FIND OUT WHY THE CHECK ENGINE LITE WAS ON. I HAD ALREADY TAKEN MY CAR TO ANOTHER SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED A CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND IT WOULD COST ME APPROX. 900.00 TO FIX SO THAT I COULD GO THROUGH DEQ. UPON MEETING JON HE GRABBED HIS TEST TOOL AND SHOWED ME ON IT THAT MY O2 SENSOR WAS BAD. I ASKED HIM IF THAT WAS ALL AND IF MY CAR WOULD PASS DEQ AND HE ASSURED ME IT WOULD. HE THEN DID THE WORK AND TOLD ME TO DRIVE IT FOR A DAY SO THAT IT WOULD GO THROUGH A DRIVE CYCLE BEFORE GOING TO DEQ. I ACTUALLY DROVE IT FOR 3 DAYS AND THEN WENT TO DEQ AND PASSED WITH NO PROBLEM. I REALLY APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY AND THE TIME HE TOOK TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO ME. I HAVE REFERRED OTHER PEOPLE TO HIM AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE A CUSTOMER OF HIS. HE SAVED ME 600.00.
