Please see the letter below that describes the incident in detail. The lack of response that I got from this e-mail shows that they just do not care about their customers. THE ATTITUDE BETRAYED BY THIS ESTABLISHMENT GIVES US GUN OWNERS, AND GUN CULTURE A BAD NAME.. It's lengthy, but it gives an accurate description of how the environment is;\r \r ""To whom this may concern, \r \r I first off would like to thank you for the good times that I have spent at your range over the years. I made my first handgun purchase with you and have had pleasant experiences with most of your staff. I introduced several people to your range, one of which is paying member there and another gentleman that bought a Springfield XDM from you. While knowing several people who were less than satisfied with some of your staff I have never had an issue with your staff until last night.\r \r Last night, April 8th, at 7:10p.m., my sister and I entered your range with the intent to test fire a Springfield XD in 9mm and possibly purchase from your store. Although I did not catch his name, we were waited on by a tall male, with long, shoulder length, curly hair. He asked for our driver’s license, on presenting them he informed me, in a condescending way, that my license is damaged and close to the point of rejection. I acknowledge the remark and thanked him for informing me. My sister’s license was stuck in her wallet and needed to be cut open in order to present it to him. I offered to cut open her wallet, and did so. As she filled out the necessary paperwork he spoke with another gentleman about “recording audio” at your range. He spoke to the gentleman in the same condescending way about what equipment he should use to record audio. When he was finished his discussion, he reviewed her paper work. He asked her in a disbelieving way if she had shot before, since she checked off the beginner listing for firearm experience. My sister, taken aback by his attitude, was a little hesitant on answering him right away. I interjected saying that she has shot on the farm (where I normally shoot) with me. He then asks in a sarcastic way “So what, you shot DADDY’S guns at the farm?” I informed him that my sister has accompanied me at the farm with my firearms many times. He quickly turns and in a very arrogant way says “Ok, that’s good. She can answer for herself, can’t she?” I replied “We are done here” and he asked why. I told him that “I have been here many times before, and that I have never encountered such an attitude.” He then sarcastically asks “I have an attitude?” I informed him again that we were finished, and thanked him for his time.\r \r I understand and respect that there needs to be a serious attitude in your range for the safety of your clients and employees. However, I believe that this can be done without the rude, sarcastic, arrogant and condescending attitude displayed by this man. I believe this can be done because I have personally experienced it from other employees there at Continental Arms. I am appalled by his behavior, and cannot fathom the need for him to act like this. While I have had several wonderful experiences, I do not believe that I can continue to enjoy your range. I hope you understand that this man has lost a paying customer for range time, as well as future potential gun sales. ""\r Pros: Just a place to shoot, convenient, indoor Cons: Over priced, over rated, egotistic employees
