well aside from the fact that they were out of my first two choices of Wine the overall experience was great. Food was cooked to spec, apps were great, desert was skipable but not bad by any means. Highly recommend requested The Mumford as your waiter he's awsome! Ask to sit upstairs if you want some quiet but if you like noise and a scene downstairs is solid for that. WAY BETTER THAN ALOT OF OTHER ""FAMOUS"" RESTAURANTS IN LAGUNA. Prices are beyond fair, something for everyone (including an overly pickey annoying veggiegal like my sister). I have nothing really bad to say about the restaurant except that they were out of the two wines I wanted but in exchange they picked up 2 bottles of water, 1 desert and 1 app. PS - HOW IS THE PLACE RATED MY EXPENSIVE THAN FIVE FEET? SOMEONE CHECK THAT....dinner at Five Feet for 5 people was $425.00 (and we didn't have wine) while at Sorrento it was $275.00 (with a GOOD bottle) Pros: Food and Service Cons: Wine list needs to be updated!! <---it's like playin the lottery
