Review content:
A few years ago I dinned at Sorrento and left feeling content but not estatic about the place. I gave it a second chance this past weekend and was completely impressed with the restaurant, service, food and wine. The menu was different then I remember and for the better. I ordered a pork chop that was as big as my head and it was amazing. It had squash and this fig sauce on top that was so mouth watering. My date had the seabass which was just as great. I guess they got a new chef who has redone the menu and everything looks and smells divine. \r
Also the wine list was very impressive. Lots of recognizable names, but lots of other boutique wines as well. The server recommened several wines by the glass to pair with our dinner and they were outstanding. Our server was also great; very professional, knowledgable and sincere. We sat upstairs so we could people watch (and check out what everyone else was ordering). \r
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great place to have dinner with a group of friends or have an intimate date. We will be back for sure.
Pros: Amazing menu, great wine list
Cons: Street parking
