Let's see, first they told me $850 for a hot water heater after checking out the existing power vent 50 gallon unit in my basement.
After calling the distributor, they suddenly changed their price to $1,200.
I said OK.
Then, after I gave them my credit card number for the 50% deposit, they informed me that there would be an extra 3% fee for using my VISA card.
I told them no way!
After that I found that passing this fee on to the customer is actually illegal.
Nice job, Ben Peer.
My next action is to call VISA card services to report them for this action.
I'd suggest avoiding Ben Peer.
