Review content:
We've called AHC several times for different repairs and have always been happy with the results AND the fair prices. He usually comes within 24 hours (the only time it was longer was at the beginning of a season when he was no doubt inundated with similar calls, even then he was quick).
He explains what he is doing and if it's a fix that you could easily do yourself (ie thawing the ice-maker), he won't hesitate to tell you and/or show you how. He always checks with you before making repairs so that you can decide what to fix now or leave for a later date if need be.
One note--Make SURE you have clean filters before he comes! As James says (nearly every time he's out here) it's best to keep them clean ALWAYS, but if you have a loaded filter, be ready to hear about it! =o)
