Dropped off a tire and rim today for mounting and balancing was quoted $38.00 for both. When I came to pick it up the owner told me they couldn't balance it because of the rim size. This happens,I asked the owner if he had any suggestions who could balance it, he wouldnt (refused to) make any suggestions. However the owner still wanted to charge me the FULL price for doing Half the job. When I challenged him on this he said if I didnt pay him the full price he wouldnt pay his ""tech"" for his work. What an @ss. Remaining calm I asked him what would he charge someone for balancing only, he(losing his temper) replied $15 or so. I started to suggest he discount my bill by that. The j*rk didnt let me finish, but did toss my credit card back at me, while yelling ""I'm sure you don't care the tech isn't getting paid!"". \r
Perhaps this shop is good to deal with if everything goes perfectly for the owner, but he CANNOT handle himself and acted like a spoiled child. If he was not lying (doubtful) & did not pay his tech he is even a bigger j*rk than he came across as.
