My wife and I were met immediately with a friendly smile and a sincere attitude to help us find the right carpet for our master bedroom. We suffered some major water damage from a faulty shower valve and we wanted to find the best carpet for the money we had to work with. We had gone to a local Big Box store and were disappointed when our installation quote was more than double what we were led to believe it would be. Working with Richard Otto at Crown Carpet in Gresham, Oregon was simply a real joy. We never felt any pressure and Richard showed plenty of patience as my wife and I went back and forth between several different carpets and a multitude of color choices. Even after we had made our final decision, we opted to go with a slightly different color. Richard never showed any displeasure with us even though we had wasted a good amount of his time having already written up a purchase agreement. I personally felt Richard truly cared that we were happy with whatever purchase we made. Our carpet was ordered and held until we were ready and when we were, the installation was completed the very next day by Bob who did a great job. Bob was in and out in good time and very polite. Bob even did some caulking I asked him to do in the bathroom that was not his concern. Thank you Richard, and thank you Bob. Working with everyone at Crown Carpet of Gresham from start to finish was a real pleasure - our hearts were touched during a very stressful time. We will be back.
