Review content:
We hired CD's to waterproof our basement after having several estimates done with other companies. We signed a contract with CD's and they were set to begin construction on Saturday 3.20.10 at 7am. They called us on Thursday 3.18.10 to confirm they were coming. We stayed up the entire night Friday to prepare the basement- we had to get a babysitter, a dog sitter and unhook everything in the basement for thier arrival. Saturday morning we sat there waiting and waiting until 9am and no one EVER came or EVER called us to cancel. They simply never showed or called to inform us they would not be there. We called 1000 times and got voice mail every time. We never heard from them once on Saturday or Sunday. Then Monday morning the owner Carol calls us and tells us ""she over booked"" and said she would send us back our money. HOW DOES SOMEONE OPERATE A BUSINESS THAT WAY. We went above and beyond to prepare our basement and they did not even CALL to cancel. We turned down several other companies to use CD's and we were left with a wet basement. When I spoke to Carol, all she said was they ""over booked"". It is simply terrible what that business did to us. We have a legal signed agreement with them and they just did not show up.
