Review content:
I've been to shell lane many times, as well as other lanes around the city. I find shell lane to have the best price in town, when there are specials. Price as of summer'05, 4 dollars per game, summer weekend special is 2.25 per game.
Now the bad stuff, the balls are bad, most of them are chipped, no grip protection rings on many of them with sharp edges, easily get your fingers cut.
THe lane, they have mulfuctions every now and then. You'll get upset if you rent the lane by the hours and it broke down and it'll take 5 min to fix.
Customer service, many of them are down right rude during peak hours. I guess I can understand them because they're very busy at those hour.
The waiting, if you go there during night or when there are specials, expect to wait for 1.5 hours.
Pros: cheap price, kids can go
Cons: long waits, poor balls, broken lanes
