I also have had the worst experience ever while renting here the past 3 months. I love the neighborhood it's seems to be quite and safe and pretty. The problem is the office and the maintance. My apartment has a patio that isn't screened in nor has a screen door..so I can't open the door without letting in bugs that bite. Took over 3 months to get a screen for my kitchen window..which means now if by chance I did burn a piece of toast that I can at least now open the window to let the smoke out. Thanks. The a/c has had problems from the first month I moved in. It has some sort of leak and it runs out of freeon frequently...every month I've called to have work done on it to keep the place liveable...the past two weeks it's really on it's last leg at the office seems to care less. The promised to replace the unit today 7/9/11 and so far nothing and it's 80degrees in my apartment..it's actually cooler outside at night then inside but because I don't have a screen door on my patio I can't even open it to try and cool off. I will not honor the lease as I can't seem to get the service that my rent should provide. My advice to anyone who doesn't want a ""project"" or ""low income"" living experience should look elsewhere to live....in the projects people live there because they have no choice....if you have a choice then don't move here as they treat you like a star to get you in...but then treat you like crap when you're on lease..
