Mastro's Steakhouse - Costa Mesa

Review content:
To categorize Mastro's with the other steakhouses is an insult to the quality of food and ambience at this steakhouse. I'm rather shocked that Mastro's is not ranked #1 by CitySearch. Like many, I believed Ruth Chris's and Morton's to be the best steakhouses in Orange County, until I visited Mastro's. Every detail from the decor, ambience, service, food, and drinks (especially the martini's) is perfection. My mouth waters just thinking about how the meat just melted in my mouth. As far as I'm concerned, Mastro's makes Ruth Chris's look like Sizzlers. I'm glad that it hasn't been hyped like other steakhouses yet and there is relatively no wait for even walk in dining, but I don't think that will last long. Pricey, but worth every penny.
Pros: Food, martinis, ambience, service
Cons: bit pricey, but worth it
