About a week ago I noticed my internet was acting really slow. I rebooted my computer, I power cycled my modem and cleared out all my junk folders. And it still was acting like I was on dial up internet. I called my ISP and that didn't fix the problem but the support tech asked me about if my wireless was secured. I had no idea what he was talking about and asked how do I tell? He then recommended I locate a networking/repair business. I then got on my phone and looked up some business'. I ended up calling Geek Squad or Nerd troop or whatever it is. I was told it would $129 just to come out and look at it and it would be a week before they could send someone out. I looked around some more for someone who could do it sooner when I came across a consumer review of secureremotesupport[dot]com. I read that they were fast knowledgeable and didn't need to come to my house. Needless to say I called and asked some questions. The technician seemed very empathetic to my situation and said he could fix it in a couple of hours. And sure enough in under 2 hours it was fixed. I just sat back and watched him control and repair my computer from his location. The whole thign was really painless and it cost less than the other guy's ""appearance fee"".
