Review content:
I was invited to my girl friend's office party which involved going to play laser tag as part of the nights activities. We started the night at NYC Paintball which is a paintball and laser tag facility, this review is for the laser tag, I plan on reviewing paintball in the future now that I know there's a paintball field here in the city. I met my group at the facility in long island city. Getting there was easy by the 7 train and a short 3 block wall. Upon entering the first thing that gets you is the smell of paintballs which wasnt noticable in the lasertag room we played in. The field was more like a long room that appears smaller than it actually is. They have these huge inflatable bunkers which make you feel like a kid in a giant toy room. They broke us up into teams of 3 and we had 6 teams. So you don't all play together at the same time if you have a big group like ours. They run 2 teams for a best of 3 which takes about 3 minutes and then they get the next 2 teams, and so on. We played a total of like 60 games in the hour and a half we played so we got alot of fun and very competetive games in. The games are so fast paced that this turned out to be the funnest aeorbic workout we'd all had in a long time, We found ourselves cheering and also found out who the sore losers were. The payment was cheap, $17.50 per head for the most fun we had in a long time. I highly reccomend this spot, and oh by the way the laser tag guns are real paintball guns you shoot but no paintballs come out of them, its all hooked up to a computer system, absolutley hi-tech geek stuff but really cool. Pros: Really easy to get to by 7 Train, Good Value, FUN!!! Cons: Could use bigger field
