Howe Real Estate Services is perhaps the worst property management company I have ever known. They employ the most ignorant, uneducated people they can find. The services provided by Howe Real Estate to my condo association has been severely lacking in the areas of lawn & landscape, snow removal, general maintenance & repairs. In the past year and a half that I've owned my condo, the assessments have increased by nearly $100 and in addition to that, they have shut down our fitness center and pool which I'm now told that I am part owner of and that the $1.3 million debt on that property is partly my responsibility. Rich Howe's office used money from my association's reserve fund to make mortgage payments on the fitness center property and thus drained our association's reserve funds. Before buying a condo or townhouse or any home that has a property management company, first make sure it's not Howe Real Estate Services and then be sure to read all of the fine print before signing on the dotted line.
