Review content:
My fiance and I had a great time Saturday at this new spot which is more fun than 95% of the places in Boston that we have been. The room is furnished beautifully and the lay-out is inviting- we were graciously welcomed at the door and immediately went to the bar where I found the bartender extremely friendly and helpful. She made us feel like were in New York City though the room was more spacious than most bars in New York. I chose the tuna tartar- which I thought was delicious and it's really not important to me what shapes the tuna is formed into. It was amazing and my fiance had lobster/avocado salad which was wonderful also. The bartender suggested a pomegranate martini and it was the perfect cocktail - not cloying like lots many sweet drinks like that can be - I will go back and will have a hard time ordering anything else. We had a great time- it wasn't very crowded while we were there but, the service and the atmosphere and our food were superb. We are thrilled that the place is in our neighborhood and hope it stays around for a long time and I see no need to change a thing.
Pros: excellent staff and cocktails, beautiful room, hip not pretentious
Cons: deck closes earlier, oftentimes crowded
