Review content:
I didn't know what to think of this place when we first walked in. I was craving Mexican it was open and it was close by. The interior was well small, much too bright (as with most hawaii restaurants) and colorful. We sat right away and was greeted with the standard affair of chips and salsa. Already I knew after the freshly made chips and very fresh salsa that this place took the FOOD seriously. I ordered what I normally order at mexican restaurants the carnitas plate. I politely asked the waitress if it comes a little crispy. She replied plesantly and told me they could make it as crispy as I would like. I usually like my carnitas soft and tender on the inside and crisp on the out. She said no problem. When she returned I took my first bite and almost lost a finger. I also asked for some hot sauce. The waitress responded"" do you want the one THEY make?"" Eager to try it I said yes! Well if you like hot sauce, do not, i mean do not miss it. It puts the kind that come out of a bottle to little use. Go there try it, have the carnitas, watch your fingers!
Pros: food food food
Cons: eh its a mexican hole in the wall...not the palace!
