Review content:
Here's my experience, though somewhat limited. The nice looking office girl will show you a nice looking demo apartment. You decide that it is a good deal for the money and sign up including a non-refundable $200 deposit. Then, when you actually go to look at the apartment that you will actually be moving into you will find that it is not quite as nice as the demo model. In fact, the apartment that I looked at had a distinctive smoke odor to it. The weather-stripping for the front door was gone. You could see light coming up the hallway and the door could flop back and forth about 0.375"" inside the casing. The paint inside the apartment looked nice, but the little porch outside was peeling badly. The place had a bit of a run-down appearance in general. If you then decide to change your mind that what was advertised did not match the final product, then they will not budge an inch to give back the deposit. Just a heads up to see your actual unit before you hand over any money. The problem is they will likely not let you see it because it needs cleaning or something. So when you visit the demo model just imagine a smoke smell and some peeling paint and missing weatherstripping etc when making your decision.\r

P.S. I thought that some of the apartments on the east side for a bit more money were a better deal....
