I went to this salon because it had such great reviews on this website. After going there and feeling very dissatisfied with my experience, I felt like I had to write in to let people know that it could be a negative experience to go here.\r

I went to get partial natural looking highlights in my naturally dark brown-blackish hair. I now have a huge block of orange colored ""highlights"" on the left lower part of my hair (that is visible whenever I put my hair up -- pony tail, etc.) -- i.e., orange on one side, mind you. The ""highlights"" near the front of my hair are dark reddish and hardly noticeable. This results in quite a bizarre look - no visible highlights from the front, a bunch of highlights on the rear top (varying shades of orange) and then a huge block of orange on the bottom left. Not exactly the natural looking partial highlights that I was aiming for. \r

I think this occurred because my stylist would hardly listen to me when I asked questions or stated I wanted something in particular. She brushed me off as though I didn't know what I was talking about. And, to add insult to injury, she repeatedly told me that my ideas would make my hair look orange, so I should leave the coloring to her expertise. So, I caved in and now I look like some lunatic got a hold of my hair.\r

And to make matters worse: I paid over $200 for this. (Yes, I feel like an idiot)\r

For what it's worth, I think she did a decent job with the hair cut. But, again, she completely ignored what I asked for. \r
