DBs is Waco's best kept secret. I dont mind paying good money for good food and service. Only place like that in Waco is Diamond Backs. Its not pretentious or fake. Service is quiet, but spot-on. The wine list is as good as any in the Dallas area and their staff backs it up with knowledge about the wines. Table side flambes, incredible hand-cut steaks (cooked correctly) and fresh seafood cooked simply. I think occasionally they have a little jazz combo band playing in the bar and they recently instituded a special menu for a 4-7 Happy Hour that includes sushi and kobe beef sliders for 3.00!! Their sushi is the second best kept secret in Waco.
