Review content:
As a patient, I recently came into contact with this company which handles the billing for my primary care provider. We have found that the front office at the medical group can never provide consistent or accurate information as to our balances. As for TBC, once or twice over several years have we ever received a statement of any kind, and when we did receive them they comprised about a dozen pages of detail items and running balances without any page footing, page forwarding, or anything to make it understandable. There was no clear presentation of what was charged, what the insurance company had paid, what we had paid already, and what might still be owing.
Nor was there any evidence of a monthly accounting cycle, forwarding of balances into the next month, or proper aging of balances.
The last straw was when a couple of days ago we asked for a full statement of all billing on our behalf. it arrived at our post office only to be held pending $.17 postage due. It is utterly remarkable that these people can do this for a living.
If you are a doctor I would avoid this company, If you are a patient I would avoid a doctor that uses them.
Cons: Statements sent late or not at all to patients
