Review content:
I read all the good reviews about Canlis, so had very high expectations. I have to say all of them were met. I think the details impressed me the most. The waiter gave us a little sample of food while we were mulling over the menu, and gave us sorbet to clean our palette after the first course. They set our exquisite bottle of wine on it's own stone coaster. \r \r My other favorite part was the view. We got there at about 6:15, and had the pleasure of watching dusk settle on Lake Union and the surrounding hills. I loved watching the pinpoints of light come on in neighborhoods.\r \r The food was delicious. Started with Canlis salad, then had a peppercorn topped filet mignon. Delicious and superb!!\r \r Plus, they remember your coat and car without you even having to ask!\r \r Pros: Romantic, View, Food, Wine Cons: Pricey
