First off, measuring ice cream? Because that $2.24 scoop I just bought, is 4 oz, no no not 5, or 3.5 it's 4, exactly. Talk about taking the fun out of ice cream. And on the topic of fun, what about flavors? I've moved back Winston after living in Apex, NC for some time. We had a local ice cream place, Pelicans (off of Hwy 55), which was homemade and had really off the wall original flavors. And for the same price you probably got an 8 oz scoop. So with that, where's the unusual, creative flavors? Chocolate Almond isn't exactly ground breaking. And in terms of quality, I've had better (and certainly had worse). All in all, it's fine. Just letting you know it's only open till 9. I can take it or leave it, but for the price I'll probably stick to the big box/chain premium ice creameries. Pros: Decent ice cream. Cons: Price, service of staff (all high school/college aged when I went).
