Korean food is about what ails ya! Tell Yong what hurts and she will concoct something that will make it better. Seriously, this establishment has been an Asian Oasis in the LJ area, offering authentic cooking from your Korean Grandma's kitchen. It has all the earmarks of country food, which is what korean food generally is, no pretense here. Kimchees of the season, bulgogi and chiges of various forms. Broths and noodles are ready at your command and her fried rice with the hint of sesame oil is a welcome variant of the old standby. Scallion pancakes and deep fried, tempura style vegies can be found along with sauteed or stewed vegi assembles. Come hungry, leave happy and content. She will also make you whatever you can think of - if she has the ingredients. Fried shrimp baskets and other more pedestrian food available for the less adventurous.
