Review content:
We rescue horses from New Holland as often as we can and we only had 2 that turned out to be unsound. One was a pony with moonblindness that came out of the slaughter pen, and the only was a small pony who was crazy sold by a red headed woman dealer (I wouldn't trust getting anything from her). Make sure you ALWAYS check the horses teeth for their age (they lie like dogs in the ring!), check their legs and hooves, and eyes while they are tied before they get to the ring. If you haven't looked it over first, don't bid on it. 90% of horses from there will end up with a horribly runny nose and a cough for a few weeks to a month. It normally goes away on it's on but cough free works alittle bit (over the counter), or spec-tuss from the vet works well for it. There is a high week and a low week, if you'd like more information on this auction please email me at mddycrkfrm@verizon. net
Pros: Can get good horses cheap
Cons: Can end in heartbreak
