Buying appliances is like buying a car. You are always in a margin game with the salesman/house. And you never know quite what is going on with promos, rebates, close-outs, etc.
State Street Discount was a refreshing change. The price is the price ...and it is a good price. No 'dealing', no hassles. No up selling. Just the facts, sir.
The sales rep stayed in touch with me right through to delivery, keeping me updated with status. I had to make a product change. No problem! For a large house, it felt very personal. Even when my rep was busy, the others stepped right in to help me, as if I were their customer.
After the sale, done by phone, a complete packet with receipt and all the rebate material arrived in 2 business days. Easy and clean.
I walked away with a good prices, quality service, and a feeling that I could recommend this place to my mom & dad. I would not say that about many appliance shops.
