Review content:
A bit about me: multicertified IT pro for 15 years, so this is not the opinion of a newbie or non-tech--your mileage may vary.\r
\r
I find these guys snooty: if you're not running the very latest gaming setup with blinky lights and stuff they look down on you. I've sent non-technical clients and family there and they've all found the place dripping with derision. Helpfullness rises exponentially when you start really throwing money around (i.e. a total new system) but to me thats not customer service.\r
\r
They also are not knowledgeable when it comes to real technical issues like networking, power supplies, etc. In other words their knowledge is a mile wide and an inch deep. \r
\r
And when they dont know something they just pretend. When I worked at a local PC/Apple retail joint I fired people who pulled that because it isn't in the interest of the customer or the store.\r
\r
Add to that that they are consistently overpriced (and*really* gouge on cables and other little stuff) and I think your better off online or another local PC place. I use them in a pinch but rarely.
Pros: have some nice gear
Cons: unhelpful, expensive
