Review content:
I was pleasantly surprised when my friends took me to the Blue Moon Cafe for brunch on Thursday. I had seen it on TV & read about it and actually planed a road trip to try it out. I am glad they did. My problem was not trying everything on the menu. I had poached eggs which were lightly done with tender whites. No ""steamed in a poacher"" hockey puck eggs. These served as a dressing for my short stack of cakes which were fluffy & tasty. Underneath I placed a nice piece of scrapple. I would have preferred the scrapple more crisp but hea, I am from Philly. Also under my cakes I placed the very crisp fried potatoes. As a cook and restaurant manager I felt this was a great place and am looking forward to my next visit. I only wish they had espresso...
Pros: All Good
Cons: no espresso
