I recently attended a private party on the patio. After reading the reviews on line, I was a bit skeptical as what to expect and a bit nervous that everything would go wrong. After all, everbody is entitled to their opinion. However, the reviews in this column are pretty accurate with regards to food quality, service and management. $51 per person was a bit pricy for the quality of the food and service. At any event I have ever attended, usually everybody is served and eating within a reasonable amount of time. The first table was served and done eating before half the guests were even served. They need to make some changes and organize this service a little bit better. The Chicken in lemon sauce over linguini was extremly dry and very bland. Had no taste at all. Forget about ordering a salad with a choice of dressing because it just isn't happening. The steak and potatoes were cold by the time it came to the table. A guest heard somebody inside asking for a napkin and was told by management they didn't have any napkins. Are you kidding me? The only thing that made this party fly was the FANTASTIC DJ we hired for the party. Would recommend him for any occassion. He made the party and helped you forget how lousy the food and service really were. After all this being said, I would not recommend this place to anybody. If you want a view of the ocean and something to eat, bring a couple of chairs and a cooler of food, beverages and a radio, sit on the beach and enjoy yourself. Guaranteed to cost you at least $5 per person and you don't have to deal with any management or food you don't like.
