Review content:
I take that back - the bartender was lovely - but the rest should be fired. The young girl working as a hostess cannot tell time, cannot articulate well and is extremely rude. I took many people from out of town there for a 7 PM reservation for 12. Got there at 6:45 and there were empty tables but nothing set up for 12. They said it would be a few minutes until they got set up. I thought alright we were a little early. A few drinks later 7 came and passed and I went over and asked how much longer - she said it will be ready for you soon. It was 7:20 when I went back over and asked if it would be soon - still empty tables and she was doing nothing. In 25 minutes only a few people came in (it was a Wednesday). My guests were getting restless and the bartender even went over and asked and I heard her tell him - ""I have better things to do that worry about that woman not getting her food quick enough."" Getting my food? I just wanted to get my table! I called Monteray Bay and they said that by the time we walked up the hill they would have a table for us. We paid our drink tab and left. I will not be returning to Georgetown Inn - I even called the next day and asked for the manager (none were availble on my visit) and they said they did not know what I wanted them to do about it! I did not want a free meal,. I just wanted them to know why thier business is going down hill.
