My family wanted to take our Grandfather out for his 80th birthday. We wanted to take him to a place that was in town. I heard of the Georgetowne Inn so I figured we would give it a shot. I called ahead to get some extra info that was needed, directions and if my handicap Grandmother would be okay in the establishment. I happened to mention in conversation that it was my Grandfather's 80th birthday. Later that night we head down to eat. We were seated upon walking in the door. (Given it was a Monday night) We all had a delicious meal, with tons of food! If you leave their hungry it is our own fault.( All meals come with soup AND a salad.) Our waitress was very good and kind! After we were done with our meals, out waitress brought out a cake dessert for my Grandfather. All of us thought another had mentioned it to them. Once we figured out that no one had said anything, we asked our waitress how she knew and she told us that the girl I talked to on the phone wrote it down. I just thought it was the nicest guesture! I know my Grandfather thought it was nice and we were all grateful the did such a sweet thing. We enjoyed our evening, with the best view in Pittsburgh. We WILL be going back!!!
