Businiess name:  Taisho Japanese Restaurant

Review content:
A few of us just had lunch at this restaurant. They have a back area for parties of under 10, had a lot of fun at a bday get together before. Based on that fun experience, we came here again. The food was pretty good, I had their lunch box which was pretty good and I liked their japanese ice cream. \r \r Last week our sugar land workplace was given certificates for the city walk restaurants so when I gave it, the waiter said they expired and that they were waiting for money from the last one (they are dated 6/21-7/9 and just received them) so we politely explained and he begrudgingly used it. We felt that was kind of bizarre, why agree to offer to be included in the listing of restaurants and then when guests redeem it make excuses to not accept it? \r \r Then, when my friend paid the bill he assumed she had left a 60% tip and didnt return. Of course we left a tip but how can you assume that we would leave such a big one? After 15 minutes of waiting, we had to ask for the change back... found that to be odd. \r \r Aside from the service issues, it was a nice place and we'll be back. Pros: food was pretty good Cons: service
