Review content:
As we all know, the quality of shopping-center Chinese restaurants varies widely, and one of my first tasks upon moving to a new area is to locate the best around.
There are more gourmet-style Chinese restaurants where the focus is on authenticity, and then there are the hundreds of restaurants which serve the Americanized Chinese food we're all familiar with. Dragon Inn is of the latter.
My wife and I tried most of the Chinese restaurants in North Durham before settling on the Dragon Inn. The quality of the dishes is superb, and the staff always go out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. Nothing to write home to Mom about, just the best Chinese food in our area.
There's only one problem: there's hardly ever anyone in there! If you live in the vicinity of Guess Rd., please consider trying the Dragon Inn, because I would like them to stay in business as long as possible!
Pros: excellent food, friendly service
Cons: out-of-the-way location
