Review content:
I was told I needed to replace my front rotors due to some minor pulsing with great authority by the store manager, along with a huge laundry list of other parts I supposedly need to replace right away.\r
\r
My rotors are about a year old, and have never been machined. Any half decent mechanic can look at the thickness/condition of your rotors and tell if they have been machined before and if it's safe to machine them again-and would, in good concience, recommend machining vs. replacement to thier customer.\r
\r
Anyone who knows the basics about brake systems can tell you they attempted to sell me something I didn't need. \r
\r
They should have given me the option of having my rotors machined, instead of replaced-a safe and rather less costly option. \r
\r
These dogs assumed I was vulnerable and tried to take advantage of me. \r
\r
I won't ever go there again, and they don't deserve your business either.
Pros: Cheap deals if you know what you need and stick to your guns.
Cons: They won't hesitate to recommend unecessary and costly repairs.
