As a responsible business owner, it is frustrating to know that Citysearch allows anonymous postings. Nonetheless, each of these postings have been made by persons who are members of homeowners associations which are governed by a board of directors; to whom they should take valid complaints.\r \r ""jjma"" complains about dues increases; however, it is his or her Board that increases dues; not management. Budget meetings are open all members of the association. It is during these open meetings that member's views and concerns are heard. Furthermore, the economy, delinquencies and foreclosures have forced dues to increase in most associations.\r \r As non-profit corporations, associations can only raise dues to match expenditures. When dues are raised, it is only to meet the current financial obligations of the association.\r \r UNC is prepared to provide documentation concerning Market Square or any other association for which there is a complaint. Information provided will include board communication, direction and public action taken against posting members by the association's counsel. For this information, please contact our offices.\r \r Ron Shearer, President\r UNC Community Management. Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks?
