Review content:
As someone who's relatively new to the area I was looking for places to get music and gear and a friend referred me to the only two stores up here. After reading the reviews/comments of both Mojo Music and Eagle Valley Music I was pretty unsure as to the validity of the reviews as they seemed pretty skewed, so I decided to go to both places and find out for myself. After visiting both businesses it appears that Mojo Music has been the victim of an unfounded smear campaign, which is unfortunate.
I found the place to be pretty cool, with a good selection of music as well as musical instruments. It was great to see someone catering to musicians in the valley as its pretty rough driving to Denver for music stuff. Some of reviews I read said the staff was unfriendly and un-knowledgeable, a claim I can't agree with at all! The owner was a cool guy, super friendly and who is also a drummer in a local band. I would definitely recommend Mojo Music to anyone who is living/traveling through the area and wants to pick up some good tunes or grab a guitar.
Pros: Musical instruments, friendly staff, good selection of tunes
