Review content:
We spotted the restaurant on the way back from an errand and decided to give the restaurant a try for lunch as our business often includes recommending good places to eat. We were seated by a pleasant young busser and given one (?) menu for the two of us. The server, Andy, who was wearing a backwards cap (unusual for inside a business) approached and was a bit standoffish as he informed us of the soup of the day. Bread plates were placed on the table but bread was never served. When the server came back to take our order, he was a bit impatient as we could tell by his body language. The food was brought to to the table by the same server a while later and since there were only two of us, it was a bit odd to have the ""Denny's"" treatment of ""who gets the...?"" One would think such a restaurant would have servers who know how to properly record customer seating and and their noted food orders. My friend ordered a Reuben and enjoyed his sandwich. I ordered a Cobb Salad for $16 and was a bit dissapointed with the size and presentation as it differed from the typical presentation. The dressing was very heavy on the salad. The server delivered the salad and left without offering pepper (not on the table) and when I called him back over, his expression was one of complete annoyance. The busser did a good job of keeping the waters full. When we were finished with our meals, the server asked if we wanted dessert or coffee but did not offer any extra effort to tease our dessert palate. We were handed our check which included an industry discount (the discount was appreciated and concluded he saw our name tags on our jackets before we took them off) but there was no verbal acknowldegment or conversation thanking us for our business or future referrals. We did not see any sign of management or staff on the floor other than the server and the busser. Overall, we were not very pleased.
