Located in beautiful Carlsbad, CA during the springtime months, the Flower Fields are open. Exiting Palomar Airport Road from the 5 freeway, you will find acres and acres of beautiful flowers right next to some good Outlet stores. These flower fields are beautiful; they plant rows of flowers according to color, and it is quite a sight to see these gigantic color blocks on the hill. By paying a small admission fee, you can go in and wander around. Some of my most favorite pictures were taken at these flower fields. It's very scenic, with the ocean in the background. For extra money, you can also ride a wagon that takes you around the entire flower field. This is definitely worth checking out the next time you are driving through Carlsbad.
