$6.99 demi glaze was spot on. Sadly that was overshadowed by a violent bartender.\r \r I walk home and according to the second amendment, I'm allowed to defend myself when walking down dark roads at night. Since I don't need to conceal a weapon at an alcohol serving environment (which is also illegal), I did what I do at so many places: I checked my personal defense weapon at the bar to be returned later on my way out the door.\r \r Unfortunately the bartender, James, shoved me off the sidewalk (with witnesses) when I was not being confrontational at all. I would have called the cops or even defended myself against being struck had I not been drinking; for I knew they would not have sided with me. There was no need for his attitude, words, and actions. I was not violent at all (had witnesses present) and all I wanted was my property back when I left the bar. It was uncalled for, even IF his point had some sort of merit. Basically, I did the right thing by checking a weapon upon entry and was then threatened and shoved by him an hour later for doing this.\r \r I definitely won't be back to this threatening environment and I'm encouraging others to go elsewhere. Some of my very good friends will never go back. We're all in the bar restaurant business and if this happened at a big chain restaurant the bartender would have been fired for certain. With hot heads like this around, I often wonder how people keep jobs.\r \r This experience ruined my night. I still don't have my property back and the owner refuses to respond to email, but I am told he is a hothead as well (guests saw him screaming at his wife before... completely unprofessional environment, but that had nothing to do with me and more about the atmosphere and pulse of the restaurant). I'd rather accept my losses than deal with violent and threatening personnel.\r \r Thankfully I made it home safe, defenseless. But all of this could have been handled without shoving and threatening me. It was completely uncalled for and people watched this happen.
