Review content:
My service date is around summer 2007. My insurance is with VSP, $120.00 for frame every other year. Eye exam every year. \r \r I came to the store asking if they accept my insurance. They gladly said Yes. They, however, told me VSP does not pay for $120.00 for frame as claimed. VSP actually pays only $30.00+ or $40.00+ for frame. Therefore I had to pay around $170+ out of pocket. I though they are honest. I also ask them to fix my lenses, which I paid another $50.00 extra. The truth is: LT Optometry is NOT VSP doctor, got reimbursed much less which in turn results in much higher copayment from the customer. LT Optometry did not disclose this. Worst of all, after paying $50.00 for the replaced lenses, they told me, a week later, that they cannot put the lenses to the frame (for some reason I did not understand). The lenses were already ordered, and I was to come to the store to pick up the lenses and my frame in pieces. I was so upset, I never picked up the frame nor the lenses.\r \r In a short words, they are not very honest (not disclose they are not VSP doctor, blame it on VSP's reimbursement policy), and they agree to fix the lenses they cannot fix, only to give back to the customer the lenses and the frame in separate pieces!!!\r \r Don't go thru what I went thru. They might become VSP doctor this year, but do you want to do business with someone who does not stand behind their words?\r \r I rarely write review, but I went thru the time to do this because I don't want any of you to go thru my bad experiences. If you have to go there, good luck! Pros: No waiting time. few customers Cons: Do not stand behind their services.
