Responding to brit02 regarding the service, perhaps this person does not realize that the busy condition of the restaurant was because of the GOOD SERVICE and FOOD! We have been going since the day it opened and yes there have been times I wish the service was quicker, but guess what, you call in your order and it will be ready to pick up then you go eat where you please. Won't be as much fun as getting the free yummy friendship tea served to you while you wait but then again you won't have to wait. I suggest to anyone that was upset over the wait to ask the staff when the least busy days and times are, then try again. It is worth it. They even put up road barriers for us to turn into their lot but does not appear that it slowed anything down much if at all. It is true the customer is ALWAYS right and there is no excuse for rudeness or a person being made to feel unappreciated or uncomfortable by any of the staff much less the manager, but do give it another try. Do the take out and I'll bet you will want to go back again and again. They have special items too, their shrimp avacado temptation is wonderful. Have a blessed day and thanks to all the folks at Pear Tree that make it work, it is not easy an easy job, I know.
