I had never been to Austin before. The first night I got there, my brother took us to Habana on South Congress. I was very disappointed. We seated ourselves because well like I said Never Been There Before... The waiter was nice at first, cleaned the table and sat us down. Then acouple minutes later he came back and asked if we had been seated. We said no. So he made us get up, which I thought was embarrasing. The waiter said there was people before us that needed to be seated. The host said that the patio was for reservations only. So what is it? Of course I didn't want to spend my money there, so I spend it else where.. actually down the street at a very nice Italian Restaurant, the food was ok, but the service was worth every penny. So I guess I'm just saying LEARN FROM YOUR NEIGHBORS.. Without customers you have nothing, so treat everyone with respect. You never know who they might be. Can't say anything about HABANA's Food, didn't get to taste it....
