One of the great things about Bakersfield Budo is that they give you two weeks of classes to try before you buy, I've seen some places only offer 1 one hour class & then you're expected to decide. The verity of martial arts also means there is something for just about everyone. The classes are scheduled so you can try a couple of different things at once like two open handed techniques or a weapons speciality & open handed technique. You can tell all the teachers care about their students and are not just a ""belt mill""; they are intersted in developing them as people and fostering a life-long love of the arts.\r \r Checkout their webpage for times & events. Pros: Nice Facilities, Good Teachers, Follows Traditions Cons: Sometimes Parking, Hard to find building first time in dark
