Review content:
I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world, but this experience I had at Orange Hill was one of the most memorable I have had in a long time. My wife and I recently had dinner reservations on a Monday night. When we decided to eat at Orange Hill we remembered the last time we had dinner there, in the summer of 2000. It was very bad; I remember having ordered the king crab carbonara, which was served very cold, tasted flavorless, and we received it one hour after we had ordered it. I asked for the manager; he came out to our table to see what the problem was and discuss our concerns. While at our table, the manager seemed more interested in my wife than our experience and unhappiness. Anyway, our recent second experience was excellent. I ordered the special that night, a peppered crusted dry aged NY steak with a sour mash whiskey sauce, truffled popcorn, and a stuffed tomato with creamed leeks and chive oil. My wife ordered the swordfish with a reisling vinaigrette and fennel salad. Everybody knows Orange Hill Restaurant's view is great, especially now that the food matches the view.
