Orange Hill does not offer self parking. You are required to use their valet service. Although we loved everything about the Orange Hill Restaurant - my car was damaged by the valet in their parking lot. There is a small dent, scratches, and a portion of the metal logo has been completely snapped off the back of the vehicle. It looks like it was backed into another vehicle or perhaps a fence. I did not notice the damage prior to leaving the restaurant. I didn't realize that walking around the entire car for a thorough inspection was necessary. If only I could go back to that night...\r \r Long story short:\r The morning after visiting the restaurant I found a small piece of plastic-painted-chrome in the driver's side of my car. It turned out to be a portion of the ""C"" in my new Civic. I believe the valet damaged my car and when the C was torn off he tried to hide the evidence, I assume by putting the pieces in his pocket, and then mistakenly dropped a piece inside the car. Tell me how the outside of my car was damaged but a piece of it was found INSIDE of the car? Sounds shady, right?\r \r I contacted the restaurant who were apologetic but quickly pawned me off on NATIONAL VALET COMPANY - the valets are outsourced. They do not work for the restaurant. The valet company then pawned me off on their insurance company who quickly sent me a claim form.\r \r Two days after the insurance company received my claim they sent me a letter back. ""After their investigation"" they concluded:\r \r a.) No employee had ""any knowledge"" of my vehicle being damaged on the night of my visit. (Shocking, no one would fess up to it now)\r b.) No one else had submitted a claim to damage on their vehicle on the same night\r c.) They inspected the area and there was NO POSSIBLE way the damage to my car occurred there (I guess that means they don't have any fences, light posts, trees, etc.)\r d.) This one is the kicker! They state ""And lastly may we refer you to the posted SIGN at the restaurant that reads any claim of damage must be completed prior to leaving the premises.""\r \r If that is the policy that what was the point of sending me claim forms to begin with? Needless to say, they basically told me to kick rocks.\r \r Let this review stand as a warning: INSPECT YOUR VEHICLE THOUROUGHLY PRIOR TO LEAVING THE ORANGE HILL RESTAURANT. The valets know that even if they do damage your car - once you leave the lot they can claim they are not responsible. \r \r The restaurant management never even followed up with me after I reported the damage to them originally. Thank you for a huge headache and a lovely meal that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars extra.
